Finding an affordable workspace with sufficient facilities can be a pain as the business culture has evolved and we are all working towards getting more for our money. Apart from a lot of new businesses coming up and competition in the co-working spaces heightening, the is also an issue of support and peace of mind.
Luckily smart and constructive working spaces have been a priority for a number of entrepreneurs. And this has resulted in various interesting work spaces booming. Let’s look at a few of these spaces that you may explore.
#1 Impact Hub Johannesburg – This space is close to home because I have worked in one of their spaces in their early days. Something I really like about this place is that they keep on evolving to be one of the leading innovative places to work at for individuals and groups alike. Located at 158 Jan Smuts Building in Rosebank, Impact Hub Johannesburg is a member-based co-working space and an event venue made up of entrepreneurs, freelancers, technology talent, consultants, investors, creatives, artists and more. Members are offered an ecosystem of resources and collaboration opportunities to assist in growing their impact. The space is part of a global network Impact Hub of over 13,000 members in 85+ locations.
Johannesburg Impact Hub connects innovators, a set up for events and shared space for easy networking opportunities.
2# Standard Bank incubator– I have also been to their facilities at 5 Cradock Avenue, Rosebank for events, I loved their space. Their space specialises in offering practical support for businesses.
The Standard Bank Incubator was launched in order to speed up the growth and success of start-ups and early stage companies. Since its launch, it has also provided a platform for these companies to be mentored, trained and provided with business development support. Standard Bank also offers incubated entrepreneurs with access to funding that would be difficult to secure without proven products and services.
3#JoziHub: Was established to create sustainable change in the technology sector providing a co-working space to share ideas and to explore opportunities of collaborations. The space is situated at 44 Stanley Avenue, Milpark, Johannesburg. JoziHub also offers its members access to a network of innovators and activities.
“Two heads are better than one” if you would like to link up with business oriented minds, these places are a fountain. #GoalChaserBlog
